snug as a bug

[flickr-photo:id=2570228107,size=m] I figured how to wear a wrap. I got several yards of nice lightweight cotton gauze (it is summer, after all) from the fabric store, followed a video from this great website. And Marlowe and I are in business. I think he does like it a tad more than the sling, and it's a lot more secure than a sling. A sling is quicker, though, so I think each will have their place. I will hopefully get better a popping baby in and out of a wrap. And how the heck do you nurse in that thing? Anyway. I'm pretty much a baby wearing novice, but it's really fun figuring all this out.

J - I can't get your new blog address to work in Google Reader. It says there's no feed for it. For now, I've bookmarked it. Will you post something to let me know, when it will work again? Thanks, MK

hit the little orange square underneath where it says "Syndicate" in the left sidebar. It should work from there.

Congrats on the new blog!!!

And he's adorable!

I haven't slung (slinged?) my kids in awhile--I kind of miss it.

if you wear the sling a little lower and a nursing shirt, you'll be in business...he can nurse in a sitting up or laying down position...but it takes a bit of trying, as anything does!
