faces

We have been making liberal use of our new membership to the children's museum. We even went twice in one week not too long ago. Marlowe is *this* close to walking, and when he does, I think he'll have even more fun!

While I was making dinner one night recently, Ellis pulled his chalkboard out and called my attention to what he had been doing. I was so excited, because it the first time I had seen him draw a face!!! And he told me (speaking and signing) eyes, nose, mouth. I love this artistic new stage he's moving into.

Dear Marlowe, you and Adelaide have the exact same hair!

I love Ellis' drawing. Love the huge nose line in comparison to the mouth. Hans always used to draw eyebrows on all the faces he made. It made them look angry, although he did not seem to notice that. They would have a smile and angry eyebrows simultaneously. Kids are great.
