I am seriously getting into the Christmas mood. The past several years, I've kind of ambled into the Christmas season, gradually realizing its pervasive presence. Now, though? I'm in the Christmas mood before decorations are up at Starbucks even. I'm gathering supplies for making my gifts. And I had a very exciting trip to Santa's Workshop (aka Amazon) today.
We're getting Ellis this musical instrument set! He's going to be so flipping excited!! I can't wait to see his face when he opens it. This child adores playing music. He got a guitar last Christmas that is practically another appendage. So he is going to go bonkers for all the musical fun in this box.
I got Marlowe a wooden shape sorter. I'm replacing a few of the baby toys we had in the plastic variety for wooden ones (or at least less toxic materials). Marlowe will love chewing on it.
Dreaming, scheming. It's so much fun!
Love it!! I used to drag the instrument out on occasion when I taught Pre-K, and even though it caused my head to pound, the *loved* it!!

I've been wondering why you hadn't updated in about a month...and then I figured out you changed your feed..but for some reason, I can't change it on my blog roll. When I remove your old one and put the new one in, it reverts back to your old one...any suggestions?
Oh, how fun! We got J a similar one at about that age, too. Loved it. Still have it.
